Will the baby live ??

"Will the baby live?" asks new kid on the block webTV company TVgold.com - a British company. They don't claim to be great animators (and a unique 2D cel style animation proves that) but they do say that they're "storytellers with morals". So if stereotypes, quirky humour, blatant nipples, brawls and burning babies to death is your thing (and who's isn't it?) then you can see most of their first movie - "Punkentoff - Will the baby live?", for FREE.

Another first for Britain and web TV, is the Pay to View concept of the last Punkentoff episode. To see the "climax" you'll have to fork out a whole £1.30 (about US$2). It makes a refreshing change from the often intrusive advertising model of the web. There's also a "catchy tune" which will be well worth the download for many on its own. There's also a media studies pack for students and interested parties.

If that wasn't enough, you can buy the whole thing uninterrupted (and highly quality) on mini DVD/CD-ROM or good old VHS (PAL or NTSC - just specify), for a mere UK£4 (about US$6) INCLUDING world-wide carriage. What a bargain and a boon to your downloading finger.

Background:

Punkentoff is the story of our two main characters, Bulldog (who looks hard) and his cute girlfriend Ripper. But as we discover, looks can be deceptive. The whole animation is a challenge against stereotypes (and effectively prejudice)

The "DozeeDoe" song in Part 3, may well become a hit, due to it's catchy tune - from our initial reports, with viewers wanting to buy it separately on audio CD as well.
